I have a proven track record of delivering high-impact careers education and supporting schools to achieve recognised standards of excellence.

I have successfully supported mainstream secondary schools to achieve the Careers Award, providing structured guidance throughout the process.

This included preparing and evidencing requirements, offering ongoing strategic support, and working closely with Careers Leaders to ensure they were fully prepared for external assessment.

I established and delivered a Careers Club for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, designed to support learners with a wide range of interests and curiosities.

The program enabled students to explore sectors of their choice, build confidence, and engage more deeply with future pathways beyond the classroom.

A key achievement has been the development of careers resources for SEND schools, which I have carefully adapted to meet a variety of learning needs.

These resources have supported students with different abilities to access careers information in meaningful, engaging and inclusive ways.

I have also produced and delivered case studies showcasing student success stories across mainstream schools, PRUs and SEND settings.

These highlight real progression routes, including further study, apprenticeships, T Levels and Supported Internships, demonstrating the long-term impact of effective careers guidance and employer engagement.

In addition, I founded the Lancashire Careers Advisory Group, bringing together local independent careers advisers to share best practice, collaborate, and strengthen regional careers provision.

The group also provides a platform for external organisations to share up-to-date information that benefits both students and teaching staff.
